The New York Jets have big problems up front on both sides of the ball. The defensive line can't put enough pressure on quarterbacks or stop the run, while the offensive line is having trouble protecting Mark Sanchez and consistently opening holes for the running game. Once considered among the Jets' top strengths, the lines are suddenly suspect.

Braylon Edwards is coming on strong, just in time for the post-season.

"Braylon, the last couple of weeks, has been awesome," Jets' offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer said Thursday, "just playing fast, jumping in like he did late in the year [in 2009] on scout team and he just looks like he can't get enough right now.

"I think he's hitting his stride at just the right time," Schottenheimer added.

With the playoffs just around the corner. Edwards has 14 receptions for 178 yards in the last two games and could be poised for a big post-season. That's something he didn't have a chance at in his first four seasons in the NFL, as Cleveland didn't make the playoffs in any of those seasons.

Finally! A game we Broncos fans can be proud of! The Broncos played the best game of their season with a 49-29 victory at Invesco Field last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. With three touchdowns in the first quarter, it was clear the bye week was much needed to revamp, rest up and come out swinging. The boys showed up to work; Kyle Orton was never tackled and the Broncos gained a season-high 153 yards on the ground. Changes were made on the defensive line, and it clearly helped clinch the win.
