Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson says Sunday's game at Miami could possibly be the last of his career if New York does not make the playoffs. Tomlinson, set to become a free agent, says Thursday that he will "wait and see" before deciding on whether to continue playing beyond this season, adding that he'll retire if the situation isn't right.
This was the New York Jets team Rex Ryan had promised all season. The offense jumped out to a quick start and kept going. The defense smothered the Kansas City Chiefs and was downright stubborn. "All the way around," running back LaDainian Tomlinson said, "this was probably our best team effort." No doubt about it.
