The Raiders officially announced the restructuring of their player personnel department, naming several people to new positions and finalizing other hirings.
The NFL has released the dates of the rookie and veteran minicamps for all 32 NFL teams, as well as the organized team activity (OTA) dates.
The Raiders have fired Jon Kingdon, their director of college scouting, according to the NFL Network.
Of the 221 picks that could have been traded in this year's draft — compensatory picks cannot be dealt — 101, or 45.7 percent, were traded at least once, including those that changed hands prior to the draft.
New owners could have a strong influence in the top 10, although trades could shake up the order, with many teams eagerly hoping to be able to acquire additional picks, slide down and still land the player of their choice at a better price. Juniors kick off the draft, with the top seven all expected to be underclassmen (denoted by an asterisk), and 19 in all projected in the first round. With the Browns, Bengals and Patriots holding two picks in the first round, Browns correspondent Tony Grossi, Bengals correspondent Joe Reedy and Patriots correspondent Jeff Howe selected twice. And with the Falcons, Raiders and Saints without a first-round pick, those correspondents did not participate in this exercise.
